Welcome to the BME Academic Office Undergraduate blog!

This blog exists mostly for informational purposes for BME Undergraduate Students, to answer questions, highlight opportunities, and provide a place where students can find out what's going on.  The idea is to reduce the need for email, and to give students a place to find things out quickly, as well as be interactive with the Academic Office, and other students.  This tab, "What's New", will consist of news, updates, information, reminders, etc.  It is tied to "Labels" on the right side for easy searching.

Besides the informational tabs, there is a one about and for students called "Spotlight", which will be a place to highlight awards and accomplishments, among other things.  We don't always know what's going on, so if you have been recognized for something, or know someone who has, let us know!  It will also be a place
where we will randomly select students to tell a little about themselves, and where you can upload things such as study abroad blogs, class videos, etc.  Material included here is up to the discretion of the Academic Office staff.

Another tab for students is labeled "Promotion".  We get quite a few requests for emails about events or meetings to be sent to all BME students.  We don't send them all out.  But we can put those under this tab, so you can see what groups or meetings that other students are trying to promote.  Note that groups that have a direct connection with BME will still also have their notices sent via email, such as BMES, AEMB, SAB, GTNeuro, BROS and the Pioneer.

Our last tab "Slivers", is for us, members of the Academic Office.  Here we will post anything we want, either fun or serious, related to BME or not.

Check the site often, there will usually be something new!
